Mark Soulard is an award-winning director with 25 years experience working for major Canadian and American television production companies, government agencies and public institutions.
Helming over 500 hours of broadcast content for the English and French markets, exceptional inventiveness and collaborative people skills have allowed this talented film maker to deliver superbly crafted, unique works that reflect and enhance corporate and cultural vision, while adhering to production deadlines and budgetary parameters.
A published photographer, he also accepts photographic assignments.
Mark Soulard has directed TV movies, television series, documentaries, and award-winning specials for broadcasters such as Fox Family Channel, Nickelodeon, Radio-Canada, the CBC, France's TF1 and M6, MTV Europe, RAI, PBS and YTV.

Mark Soulard was nominated as Best Director at the Gemeaux Awards for 5 years in a row, winning three awards, one for Best Director and two for Best Show in the Musical/Variety category. His shows have also won a Felix Award. Eventually, he segued into directing fiction, crafting 2 family movies "Shadow of the Bear" and "The Tale of the Silver Sight." His directing credits also include multiple television episodes of the hit Quebecois sitcom "3 X Rien," the American teen horror "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" the mystery show "The Adventures of Shirley Holmes," and the edgy teen comedies "Big Wolf on Campus” and "Student Bodies."
In addition, he's directed over 50 commercials for clients such as Reno-Depot, Dunkin' Donuts and Canadian Tire and has written and directed 25 music videos, including 10 for international singing star, Roch Voisine.
Recently, he created a French sitcom entitled “Cols Bleus Blues,” which takes place in the world of unionized city employees. He produced, directed and co-wrote the pilot, and is currently shopping it around to producers.
Mark Soulard has been nominated seven times for a Gemeaux Award – five times as Best Director and twice as Best Editor, winning the Best Director Award in a Musical Variety Special. His shows have also won three Gemeaux Awards for Best Musical / Humour Variety Specials and a Felix Award.
He has directed more than 25 music videos for Canadian and Québécois artists, including 10 for international singing star, Roch Voisine.
Mark Soulard is based out of Montreal, Quebec and is available to direct anywhere in the world. His work has taken him to Europe, the United States and the Caribbean. He has travelled extensively throughout Canada, especially the Far North, venturing through the Yukon, the Northwest Territories right up to Baffin Island.
